Everything a Spanish horse should be;
Faisan is a 5 year old, 16.1+HH (and growing), Inscribed and now REVISED Pura Raza Espanola or "Andalusian" stallion.
Faisan has spectacular movement, flawless conformation, uphill gaits, true freedom of shoulder, a big balanced canter and the natural ability to collect. Faisan has classic PRE features packaged in a tall refined frame.
Faisan recently competed successfully at Iron Horse Equestrian Center's gold level dressage show with a score of 73.6% for his FEI 5 yr old test. He was highpoint scorer for the weekend Young Horse Division Champion. The marks were broken down as follows:
Trot: 7.5 "Shows aptitude for the medium trot"
Walk: 7.2 "Clear rythym, shows ground cover with swinging back"
Canter: 7.4 "Jumping well; expressive, willing to cover ground with uphill tendancy"
Submissiveness: 7.2 'Obedient simple changes. Willing to correct when mistakes are made"
General Impression: 7.5 "Elegant type"

Faisan is now qualified to compete at the national championships at Palgrave in September.
The Spanish horse has been bred for hundreds of years for the collected dressage movements, they are naturally balanced and collect effortlessly making them fun to ride. What some lack is the quality of gaits many of the warmbloods possess. The breeders of the PRE horse are now recognizing the niche for a spanish horse with more suspension and are breeding for this quality. Faisan’s lines possess two of the biggest moving PRE horses of all time (Evento and Ebanisto) and he in turn possesses the best of both worlds, collection and suspension.
